Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Senior Manager, Global Equity Administration to lead the end-to-end equity program for a subsidiary, with a focus on high-quality execution, scalable processes, auditable controls, and reliable equity systems. You will be hands-on in day-to-day equity administration and help improve how we operate as we scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive equity administration experience in a high-growth environment.
• Strong working knowledge of equity administration platforms (Shareworks preferred or comparable), including reporting and day-to-day workflows.
• Ability to operate with precision and urgency in time-sensitive, high-stakes processes.
• Comfort working across equity data flows with HRIS, payroll, and accounting/reporting partners.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and reporting/analytics tools.
• High ownership and prioritization, with the ability to work independently across multiple workstreams.
• Clear communicator who can partner across teams.
• High integrity handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end equity administration across lifecycle events (grants, vesting, exercises).
• Manage timelines, checklists, stakeholder inputs, and issue resolution.
• Produce audit-ready equity reporting for accounting, compliance and reporting needs.
• Build automated reporting, dashboards, reconciliations to improve speed and accuracy.
• Support equity system operations (Shareworks or similar) including configuration and permissions.
• Maintain process documentation, narratives, and flowcharts with Internal Controls.
• Coordinate operational steps for new programs and transactions, including liquidity events.
