Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a bilingual HR Operations Specialist to manage Workday data transactions, onboarding, offboarding, and localization actions. You will handle reviews, EIB uploads, and HR reporting with a keen eye for accuracy.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, as well as the ability to work a fixed night schedule aligned to North/South America business hours. Knowledge of Workday HCM and ServiceNow is preferred, and benefits administration experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in HR or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Willingness to work fixed night shift aligned to Americas hours.
• Strong data accuracy in high-volume processing.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Workday HCM or HR Shared Services is preferred.
• No GM immigration sponsorship required now or in future.
• Experience supporting Benefits administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute Workday data transactions including onboarding, offboarding, job changes and localization actions.
• Monitor Workday inboxes and ServiceNow queues; process, route, or escalate cases.
• Perform data validation and peer checks for accuracy and First Time Resolution.
• Support EIB uploads and other mass data actions.
• Support Benefits-related data tasks, including benefit driver entry and continuation processing.
• Coordinate with Benefits COE partners for North and Latin American populations.
• Generate scheduled and ad hoc HR administration reports.
• Distribute reports and maintain execution records.
• Identify data anomalies and reporting discrepancies.
• Serve as primary Spanish-language point of contact for HR partners and employees.
• Communicate with HR partners in Spanish to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Maintain quality and participate in audits.
• Adhere to night-shift schedule and attendance.
• Contribute to knowledge base and SOP updates.
• Identify process inefficiencies and share improvements.

Job description

• Execute Workday data transactions including onboarding, offboarding, job and position changes, pay group assignments, government ID updates, service date edits, and international assignment/localization actions
• Monitor Workday inboxes and ServiceNow queues; process, route, or escalate cases
• Perform data validation and peer checks to ensure accuracy and First Time Resolution
• Support EIB uploads and other mass data actions
• Support Benefits-related data tasks, including benefit driver entry, disability administration, and benefit continuation processing
• Coordinate with Benefits COE partners and HR for North and Latin American populations
• Generate scheduled and ad hoc HR administration reports
• Distribute reports accurately and maintain execution records
• Identify and flag data anomalies and reporting discrepancies
• Serve as the primary Spanish-language point of contact for HR partners and employees
• Communicate with HR partners in Spanish to clarify requirements, provide status updates, and resolve issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and verbal
• Ability to work on a fixed night schedule aligned with North or South America business hours
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in a high-volume processing environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Prior HR Shared Services, People Services Center, or HR Operations experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Workday HCM and ServiceNow case management preferred
• Familiarity with North and South America HR processes, labor practices, or employee lifecycle workflows preferred
• Experience supporting Benefits administration or HR data management preferred
• Comfort working with reports and structured data preferred
• Must not require General Motors immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future
