Job summary

Twoconnect is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to oversee strategy, governance and risk across a global manufacturing and engineering footprint. You will drive security maturity, manage risk, and work with executives, regional IT teams and a managed SOC to shape the security roadmap and resilience.

The role requires senior leadership capability, a track record implementing security programmes, and strong collaboration with MSPs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior cybersecurity role owning strategy, governance and risk.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Experience with security frameworks such as Essential Eight, NIST, ISO 27001 or equivalent.
• Strong grounding in Microsoft enterprise environments (Defender, Entra ID, Microsoft 365) and in working with a managed SOC or MDR provider such as Arctic Wolf.
• Experience across multi-site or multi-country organisations.
• OT security experience is a strong advantage in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the cybersecurity strategy, maturity roadmap and investment priorities.
• Own the cyber risk register, the control framework and the Essential Eight maturity programme.
• Define security architecture principles across identity, endpoint, network, cloud and OT boundaries.
• Own the incident response framework and lead major incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Set and assure security requirements for MSPs and regional providers and drive OT risk reduction.
• Own the security toolset roadmap (Microsoft Defender, Arctic Wolf) and advise on major programmes.
• Lead and develop the IT Security Analyst and foster security awareness across the business.
• Maintain a clear separation between setting security direction and day-to-day execution.
