Job summary

SGS is seeking an MDM Specialist to ensure quality, completeness, and timeliness of master data setup in our systems in the Philippines. You will maintain internal controls, interpret data accurately to support business decisions, and apply corporate rules to identify and remediate data errors.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, create/update documentation, and drive data-cleaning initiatives. Strong analytical skills, independence, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Master Data Management.
• Experience with financial systems; Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Excel and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of data structures and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of master data setup.
• Maintain internal controls for master data records.
• Interpret information correctly and support business decisions.
• Apply corporate rules to review data requests and remediate errors.
• Create or update Master Data docs and training materials.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality.
• Regularly review and clean up master data.
• Inform supervisors of issues or opportunities with customers' data.
• Serve as primary contact with country-based account management and related departments.
• Drive Master Data team activities and test defect resolutions.
