Job summary

FedEx Express México is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel I to join the Corporate Integrity and Compliance group. This role provides strategic legal guidance on compliance, data privacy, and investigations for FedEx businesses in Mexico and internationally.

The selected candidate will lead complex investigations, review policies, and advise senior management on regulatory risk. Fluency in English and a law degree are required; experience with multinational programs is highly valued.

Qualifications

Six years of experience in compliance, privacy and investigations.
Experience with multinational corporate compliance programs and international offices.
Knowledge of enterprise risk management and risk assessments.
Excellent investigative and writing skills.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on corporate compliance, privacy, and investigations for FedEx entities.
Advise operating companies and international regions on legal matters.
Review and draft documents; structure agreements to minimize risk.
Serve as main point of contact with external counsel for assigned matters.
Support CIC program development and implementation, focusing on privacy and investigations.
Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and best practices for corporate compliance.
Lead and supervise global investigations related to misconduct and Code of Conduct.
