Private Advertiser in Manila seeks a Manager, Captive Insurance Accounting to lead a team responsible for end-to-end accounting and financial reporting of captive programs globally. The role drives accuracy, timeliness, and compliance within the Global Finance Shared Services Center in Manila.

You will own the close processes, oversee GAAP and statutory reporting, and partner with auditors and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and processes.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in insurance accounting, captive insurance, or a closely related discipline.

Aufgaben

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for all captive insurance entities across regions.
• Review and approve general ledger entries, reconciliations, and analytical schedules including reserves and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee GAAP and statutory financial reporting for captive entities in accordance with ASC 944; ensure premium recognition and loss reserve development.
• Understand pricing structures and validate pricing flows in captive financials.
• Administer and monitor the financial system to maintain accurate ledgers.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls across captive accounting processes.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, statutory standards, and company policies.
• Serve as audit liaison; coordinate audits and remediation of control gaps.
• Lead transition of regional/global captive accounting functions to Manila team.
• Attract, develop, and retain high-performing team via coaching and performance management.
