The role ensures accurate financial information while complying with Philippine standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will guide full-cycle accounting, manage a finance team, and collaborate with senior management on strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• CPA with active Philippine license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, BIR regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, budgeting, and audit coordination.
• Experience managing accounting teams and overseeing full-cycle accounting operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules.
• Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures in accordance with PFRS.
• Monitor month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Supervise the preparation, review, and filing of BIR tax returns and other statutory reports.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting personnel to ensure quality and productivity.
• Work closely with senior management and other departments on financial planning and operational matters.
• Present financial results, reports, and significant accounting matters to management.
