Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the Global Intercompany Accounting Team in Manila. You will oversee end-to-end Intercompany processes, partner with Finance leadership, and drive standardization and automation across functions.

You will mentor leaders and contributors, manage annual budgeting for the group, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies. This role fosters growth within the Manila organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, ERP, and consolidation processes.
• Ability to identify system and master-data issues and drive improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern global intercompany accounting processes across Invoice to Pay, Record to Report, and Credit to Cash.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, CP&Ps, local statutory requirements and SOX controls.
• Lead standardization and automation across intercompany processes.
• Initiate and lead improvements to monthly reconciliations and consolidation processes.
• Align workload and staffing resources with peak close requirements.
• Develop leadership and junior staff to enable growth within Emerson Manila.
• Manage the Manila group budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
