Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Assurance who would be the main point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by global client serving assurance teams, ensuring timeliness and quality.

This role offers virtual or direct work with engagement teams across Americas and Europe, developing knowledge of international accounting and assurance standards.

You will lead teams, drive process improvements, and contribute to EY's trusted, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 5-6 years post-qualification experience
• ACCA/CPA with 7-8 years post-qualification experience
• Articleship with other top or mid-tier accounting firms

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates
• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables per EY methodology
• Apply EY methodology to service delivery and quality reviews
• Build productive relationships with engagement teams in Americas or Europe
• Understand and embed EY Risk Management procedures
• Transition new engagements and services to GDS Assurance
• Monitor workflow, allocate resources, track utilization and budgets
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication with GDS and teams
• Set expectations on value delivered to GDS or engagement teams
• Identify opportunities to expand the scope of GDS Assurance
• Standardize assurance processes and share best practices
• Mentor and develop team members; lead by example
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback
• Participate in recruitment, diversity initiatives, trainings, and others
