Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance seeks a Core Senior to lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely, high-quality work in line with global standards. The role requires strong project management, leadership, and deep knowledge of accounting standards like IFRS/US GAAP and EY tools.

You will oversee day-to-day engagement operations, manage resources, review work, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with global teams to deliver superior client service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BS Accountancy degree.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting & audit (external audit required).
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and audit standards.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, PSA and Taxation.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements from the GDS front and ensure timely, high-quality work per EY GAM and global team expectations.
• Monitor workflow, allocate resources, track utilization and budgets for the team.
• Guide and review work of GDS staff; perform senior-level reviews and provide coaching.
• Maintain professional relationships with GDS and Global teams; communicate clearly and effectively.
