Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting or shared services experience.
• Solid understanding of AP/AR, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with large data sets.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Effective communication skills, capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries for cash disbursements, accounts payable, and other accruals.
• Timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Create Master Vendor Codes for GRIR suppliers and manage vendor data.
• Record correct tax treatment on invoices; file VAT/withholding taxes as required.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax partners for filings and compliance.
• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and regular reporting to regional office.
