Job summary

Emd Group in Manila is seeking a General Ledger Team Lead to oversee a team of 10–15 GL Accountants within our Shared Services Center. You will manage month-end close, ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, and deliver accurate financial reporting to internal customers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, 5–8 years in GL with leadership, CPA or Master preferred, and proficiency with SAP or ERP systems. On-site in BGC, Taguig; mid-shift to night-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience in a Shared Services Center environment preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–15 General Ledger Accountants.
• Oversee daily GL operations, month-end close, and reporting to internal customers.
• Review and approve complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and timely financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and collaborate with local and global teams.
