Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in General Ledger Accounting Operations with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Tax.
• Experience in a Shared Services Center environment preferred.
• Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willing to work on-site in BGC, Taguig with mid/night-shift schedule.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-15 General Ledger Accountants.
• Oversee daily GL operations and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial data and reports to internal customers.
• Manage postings, payroll and master data maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Review and approve complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee reporting to local finance and Group Accounting; support pre-audit tasks.
• Ensure IFRS, GAAP, and tax compliance across GL processes.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to resolve issues.
