We are seeking an Area Control Operations professional to oversee field equipment, perform critical switch operations, and enforce safety permits. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration with ACC for efficient power generation.

Responsibilities

• Roving inspection of facility equipment to verify field operation parameters and request maintenance as needed.
• Monitor inspection route completion and verify readings consistency between remote and local sensors.
• Performs manual valve operations, equipment changeovers, and local breaker switching per ACC during emergencies.
• Checks brine levels, sump levels, and steam line conditions to ensure continuous fuel supply for generation.
• Inspects auxiliaries to ensure efficient operation; records logs and reports steam losses and equipment performance.
• Acts as Senior Authorized Person (SAP); determines isolation boundaries for safety permits.
• Performs remote electrical switching for substations/lines per approved programs.
• Applies Locks and Tags (LOTO) at isolation points and verifies zero energy state.
• Serves as safety observer during critical shift activities.
• Monitors and reports safety audit findings and near-misses.
• Physically verifies switch positions and earthing trucks for regulatory reporting of safety status.
• Completes Field Operator to Desk Operator training curriculum.
• Seeks feedback from Shift Lead on operational precision during check-ins.
• Completes training modules including 5S compliance and toolbox meeting attendance.
