Job summary

Carsu is seeking a PROJECT TECHNICAL AIDE V to support field surveys, geospatial data handling, and hazard mapping for landslide risk assessments. You will work within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to GIS-based workflows and analytic reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with GIS and statistical tool proficiency. Fieldwork will be an ongoing responsibility in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field as listed.
• At least 1 year of related field survey/geospatial experience.
• Experience with geoscience or disaster-risk projects is a plus.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and collect data for earthquake-induced landslide hazards.
• Assist in creating/updating landslide inventories and hazard maps.
• Support statistical model preparation for hazard mapping.
• Integrate field data into GIS workflows and ML processes.
• Perform basic geospatial and numerical analyses; assist in reporting.
