Job summary

515 Life Construction, Corp. is seeking a Geodetic Engineer to support surveying and mapping operations under the supervision of a Senior Geodetic Engineer. The role involves fieldwork, data processing, and documentation.

You will encode data, prepare mapping requirements, conduct layout and survey work, and submit results for review. Familiarity with Total Station, GPS, Level, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed or board-eligible Geodetic Engineer.
• At least six (6) months relevant experience.
• Familiar with surveying instruments: Total Station, GPS, Level.
• Assist in data collection, plotting, and survey computations.
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS software.
• Interpret basic site development plans, topographic maps, and layouts.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling fieldwork and survey documentation.

Responsibilities

• Encode and process data.
• Prepare mapping and documentation requirements.
• Conduct layout and survey work as delegated by the Senior Geodetic Engineer.
• Submit survey data and field results for review and validation.
• Request instruments, tools, or supplies needed for assigned tasks.
• Coordinate directly with site engineers for layout instructions.
• Recommend adjustments to layout markings based on site conditions.
