Job summary

Development Strategists International Consulting Inc. is seeking a generator operator to start, run, and stop generator units according to power demands and emergency procedures.

You will monitor gauges and maintain logs while ensuring safety and reporting faults as needed. The role involves routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, changing oil, refueling, and, in mobile or event scenarios, operating a transport vehicle carrying the generator.

Responsibilities

• Start, run, and stop generator units according to power demands or emergency procedures.
• Check equipment gauges for fuel levels, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage output.
• Perform routine inspections, clean filters, change oil, and manage refueling.
• Identify minor electrical or mechanical issues and report major faults to supervisors.
• Maintain daily operational logs, fuel consumption records, and maintenance reports.
• Follow strict safety protocols and, in mobile roles, drive the transport vehicle carrying the generator.
