Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of genset maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems.
• Able to troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, cooling, and control system problems.
• Willingness to conduct field work.
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies.
• Experience with telecom gensets is an advantage.
• Familiarity with genset controllers and monitoring systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of generator sets.
• Conduct regular inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of genset systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, control, battery, charging, and starting system issues.
• Perform oil and filter changes and other scheduled maintenance activities.
• Check coolant, fuel system, battery condition, belts, hoses, and other genset components.
• Conduct load testing and operational testing of generator sets.
• Troubleshoot genset controllers, alarms, sensors, and related electrical components.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls at telecom sites.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and documentation after every activity.
• Coordinate with the Operations/Engineering team regarding equipment issues and required repairs.
