Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in retail or general management, preferably in mobile telecommunications or consumer electronics.
• Proven track record managing multi-unit retail operations and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent financial acumen, including budget management, financial analysis, and profit optimisation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, profitability goals, and market expansion objectives across the mobile cellphone chain.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of store managers and sales associates, fostering a high-performance culture and driving employee development.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, margins, and cash flow, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Drive sales growth and revenue optimisation through effective pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product mix management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and advantageous business terms.
• Implement customer service excellence standards and monitor customer satisfaction metrics to enhance brand reputation.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on business performance, challenges, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Ensure health, safety, and security compliance across all store locations and facilities.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager - Mobile Cellphone Chain to lead our mobile retail operations at our Quezon City Metro Manila location. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to drive strategic direction, operational performance, and growth across our cellphone retail chain. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, from sales and marketing to store operations and team management. This role is pivotal in achieving our business objectives and maintaining our competitive edge in the fast-paced mobile telecommunications retail market.

What we're looking for

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent financial acumen, including budget management, financial analysis, and profit optimisation capabilities
• Strategic thinking and business development expertise with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in retail management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with the Philippine retail market and understanding of local consumer behaviour and market dynamics
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and vendor management is advantageous
