Job summary

Canon Business Process Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a senior Finance professional to oversee General Ledger and month-end close activities. You will manage reconciliations, reporting, budgeting, and cost-center analyses while ensuring GAAP compliance and process efficiency.

The role requires at least 5 years in finance/accounting with supervisory experience, and the ability to work night shifts in a hybrid environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial and/or accounting experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in accounting principles and reporting requirements.
• Ability to interpret and advise on financial data.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work night shift in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various General Ledger functions of the organization.
• Manage Balance Sheet reconciliation process of various accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies & procedures, GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Review month-end GL reconciliations, reserves and accruals with the finance team.
• Oversee month-end and year-end GL close process.
• Manage journal entries during month-end close and approvals with Supervisors and Analysts.
• Provide detailed and/or summarized analyses and financial reports to Operations and Senior Management.
• Manage the budget and monthly P&L review of multiple cost centers and regions.
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
