Job summary

MicroSourcing in Parañaque City is seeking a General Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations. The role requires advanced Excel skills, meticulous balance sheet work, and timely month-end closures.

You will prepare and review journal entries, perform month‑end and year‑end closings, and generate monthly reports with variance analyses to support decision making. The position offers a hybrid setup and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in managing month‑end/year‑end closes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Your Role

As an General Accountant, you will:

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in managing month‑end/year‑end closes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience in a multinational company, shared services, or BPO environment.
• Hands‑on experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Strong capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and resolve process discrepancies.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and maintaining internal financial controls.
