Job summary

MicroSourcing in Parañaque City (Harton Corporate Center) is seeking a General Accountant to join our hybrid team. You will own the end-to-end accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close, delivering timely and accurate financial reports.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy or related field, at least 5 years of full-charge experience, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on ERP experience (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full-charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in month-end/year-end closes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting cycle (GL, AP, AR) and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals and month-end adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and timely close cycles.
• Generate monthly reports and variance analyses for decision-making.

Your Role:

As anGeneral Accountant, you will:

• Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, payroll, intercompany, and month-end adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities within agreed timelines.
• Generate monthly reports and variance analyses to support business decision-making and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full-charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in managing month-end/year-end closes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience in a multinational company, shared services, or BPO environment.
• Hands-on experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Strong capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and resolve process discrepancies.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and maintaining internal financial controls.
