Job summary

Actuate Builders, Inc. is seeking a skilled accountant in the Philippines to handle full-cycle bookkeeping and project accounting for our construction projects. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, familiarity with BIR tax compliance, and proficiency in Excel plus QuickBooks or SAP.

You will support audits and intercompany activities while ensuring accuracy across entities. The position emphasizes accuracy, multi-entity coordination, and timely reporting in a dynamic hosting

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA a plus but not required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with exposure to corporate and construction/project accounting.
• Knowledge of BIR tax compliance and Philippine statutory reporting.
• Familiarity with POC accounting is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel and common accounting software (QuickBooks or SAP).

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
• Manage AP/AR, billing, and collections.
• Handle BIR tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support annual audits and AFS preparation.
• Track project costs, billings, and POC for construction projects.
• Monitor budgets vs actuals and flag variances to PMs.
• Prepare progress billings and assist project closeout accounting.
• Assist with cash positioning and funding reports.
• Prepare disbursement vouchers and intercompany transfers.
• Track loan facilities and bank documentation.

• Manage AP/AR, billing, and collections
• Handle BIR tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support annual audits and AFS preparation

Project Accounting

• Track project costs, billings, and percentage-of-completion (POC) for construction/fitout projects
• Monitor budgets vs. actuals and flag variances to Project Managers
• Prepare progress billings and support project closeout accounting

Treasury Support

• Assist with cash positioning and funding reports
• Prepare disbursement vouchers and support intercompany fund transfers
• Help track loan facilities and bank documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, not required)
• 3-5 years of accounting experience; exposure to both corporate and construction/project accounting preferred
• Working knowledge of BIR tax compliance and Philippine statutory reporting
• Familiarity with POC accounting is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Treasury/cash management exposure is a strong plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across entities
