About the Role

The Game Attendant maintains safety, cleanliness, and active engagement on the game floor. This role assists guests with game instructions, clears minor game jams on the spot, restocks claw and redemption games, and ensures all arcade attractions are presentable for mall visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Game Floor Monitoring: Patrol assigned arcade sectors to assist guests with game operation, clarify card swipe error messages, and assist children with interactive simulators.

• Minor Floor Fixes & Jams: Clear minor ticket reader jams, reset stuck claw mechanisms, adjust ball dispensers, and report complex mechanical or screen faults to the Lead Attendant.

• Merchandise Restocking: Refill claw machines, crane games, and redemption prize dispensers with plush toys and novelties according to visual merchandising guidelines.

• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Wipe down game controls, steering wheels, screens, and foot pedals regularly with sanitizing solutions to uphold clean facilities.

• Safety Enforcement: Ensure guests follow safe play rules on active movement simulators, VR rides, and heavy equipment, escalating safety issues to shift leads immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Degree in electronics, technology or equivalent.

• Experience: Entry-level position; previous work or volunteer experience in retail, customer service, or leisure environments is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Basic physical dexterity for opening game cabinets, restocking prize chutes, and operating basic hand tools.

• Competencies: Approachable attitude, strong work ethic, physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, and dedication to guest satisfaction.
