Job summary

PM Consulting in Makati City seeks an Foreign Exchange Account Officer to manage a portfolio of corporate clients, pursue new business, and coordinate FX services with internal teams. You will analyze clients' currency needs, negotiate terms, and drive growth while ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements.

This role blends sales, relationships, and product knowledge to deliver tailored FX solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience in corporate or commercial banking is an advantage.
• Exposure to foreign exchange, treasury, trade finance, cash management, or other banking products is preferred.
• Proven experience in client acquisition, account management, or business development.
• Strong understanding of financial products and FX concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work toward sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with corporate and business clients.
• Serve as key contact for clients regarding FX-related requirements and services.
• Understand clients' businesses, transaction patterns, and currency needs.
• Conduct regular client engagements to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Assess clients' FX requirements and recommend products or solutions.
• Coordinate with internal FX/Treasury teams for market pricing and support.
• Negotiate terms and pricing within authority and guidelines.
• Work toward targets for FX volume, revenue, and account growth.
• Monitor client trends and develop account strategies.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Ensure transactions comply with banking policies and regulatory requirements.
• Obtain and verify required supporting documents; escalate risks accordingly.
