Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Manila is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant leader to oversee NAV calculations for hedge funds and manage a supervisory team. You will coordinate daily workflows, ensure high SLA delivery, and liaise with internal groups to uphold client service levels.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in financial services, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive process improvements while maintaining compliance and client focus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business related area.
• 6+ years of experience in Financial Services with high-volume operations or hedge funds.
• Supervisory experience of 4+ years.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and client relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Encompass NAV calculations for a variety of hedge funds and supervise a team.
• Administer services under administration agreements for hedge fund clients.
• Review and sign off NAV calculations, financial statements and reports.
• Reviewing/authorizing payments and other transactions.
• Coordinate year-end process with audit timelines and regulatory filings.

About The Team & Business Line

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Managing a group of supervisors and senior fund accountants while working closely with your vice president, your responsibilities will include;


• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients;


• Review and sign-off of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports


• Reviewing/Authorizing payments and other transactions;


• Building relationships and working closely with Citco Internal SSC and non-SSC teams including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams


• Planning, scheduling and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team


• Effective monitoring of deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within set accuracy standards


• Developing, adhering and maintaining target resource deployment to ensure adequate resources for production, overtime and cost management


• Ensure adherence of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements.


• Address and/or escalation of all material issues effecting the NAV production process or client relationship in general to Vice President in a detailed and timely manner


• Managing and coordinating the Year end process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services, etc.


• Liaising closely with the Supervisor to identify and implement on the job training initiatives for team members; own team related duties including vacation management, performance appraisals, etc.


• Engage and own intra-office migrations and/ or new client on boarding


• Contribute and own departmental initiatives while supporting team initiatives


• Drive forward continuous improvement, seeking efficiencies while maintaining adequate controls

Qualifications

About You:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification.


• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry


• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 4+ years


• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail


• Strong business acumen.


• Good client/ business relationship management


• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
