Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a Fund Administrator to join our Fund Administration team and support NAV calculations for hedge funds. You will supervise staff and work closely with the Assistant Vice President to ensure timely service and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities include administering administration agreements, preparing NAVs and financial statements, and maintaining strong relationships with investors, investment managers, banks and auditors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business related area.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
• Supervisory experience with 3+ years.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calculate NAV for hedge funds and supervise staff.
• Administer administration agreements for a portfolio of hedge funds.
• Prepare NAV calculations, financial statements and reports within deadlines.
• Coordinate Year End process with audit timelines and regulatory filings.
• Develop relationships with investors, managers, banks, auditors and other fund participants.

Responsibilities

Your Role

• Encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Assisting with the supervision of (Senior)/fund accountants and working closely with the Assistant Vice President, your responsibilities will include;
• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
• Preparation of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports for larger, complex clients, or as required, within deadlines;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President in supervising staff within an “Account”, reviewing work performed by staff in the Account;
• Working closely with the Senior Fund Accountants /Fund Accountants to manage timelines, workflows and deliverables within agreed SLA’s;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President in meeting client expectations by monitoring timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables;
• Escalating all material issues effecting the NAV production process to the Assistant Vice President in a timely manner;
• Monitoring progress of Senior Fund Accountants /Fund Accountants to identify areas for additional training and development;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers and auditors and other fund participants;
• Building relationships and working closely with investor relations group and liaising with other departments within Citco as required;
• Training and Coaching staff;
• Meeting expectations of clients and fund participants, adhering to deadlines;
• Positioning one-self to be the first escalation point for internal queries;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President to coordinate the Year End process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services etc.;
• Assist the Assistant Vice President where required and become involved in special projects as needed (e.g. conversions etc.).

Qualifications

About You

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting , Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3+ years.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
• Good client/ business relationship management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc.)
