Job summary

Citco Group of Companies in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Senior to oversee NAV calculations for hedge funds and lead a team of fund accountants. You will coordinate administration agreements, review financial statements, and ensure accurate, timely client deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role offers a hybrid work setup (3 days onsite) at Makati or Alabang offices, with opportunities to collaborate across internal teams and drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, and related area is required or candidate pursuing a professional qualification.
• Experience in Financial Services with high-volume operations or hedge funds is required.
• Supervisory experience managing staff for several years is expected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good client relationship management and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work at Makati or Alabang offices with hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

• Encompass all facets of NAV calculation for hedge funds and supervise a team of fund accountants.
• Manage administration of portfolios under administration agreements.
• Review and sign off NAV calculations, financial statements, and reports.
• Review and authorize payments and other transactions.
• Collaborate with internal SSC and other teams to ensure deliverables meet SLA and accuracy.
• Plan and manage daily workflows and resource deployment for production.
• Monitor deliverables to maintain high SLA compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost management while maintaining controls.
• Coordinate year-end processes with audits, regulatory filings, and tax services.
• Liaise with supervisors to implement training and oversee vacation and performance.
• Engage in onboarding of new clients and contribute to departmental initiatives.

About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

• Encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Managing a group of supervisors and senior fund accountants while working closely with your vice president, your responsibilities will include;
• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients;
• Review & sign-off of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
• Reviewing/Authorizing payments and other transactions;
• Building relationships & working closely with Citco Internal SSC & non-SSC teams including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams
• Planning, scheduling and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team
• Effective monitoring of deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within set accuracy standards
• Developing, adhering and maintaining target resource deployment to ensure adequate resources for production, overtime & cost management
• Ensure adherence of applicable best practice policies & client specific agreements.
• Address and/or escape all material issues effecting the NAV production process or client relationship in general to Vice President in a detailed & timely manner
• Managing & coordinating the Year end process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services, etc.
• Liaising closely with the Supervisor to identify and implement on the job training initiatives for team members; own team related duties including vacation management, performance appraisals, etc.
• Engage & own intra-office migrations and/ or new client on boarding
• Contribute & own departmental initiatives while supporting team initiatives
• Drive forward continuous improvement, seeking efficiencies while maintaining adequate controls

About You:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business-related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 4+ years
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Good client/ business relationship management
• Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Amenable to working in our Makati (OneAyala Corporate Center, Makati City) or Alabang office (Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest, Alabang)
• Amenable to working on a Hybrid set up (3 days' onsite per week)
• Amenable to work on shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)
