Job summary

The Maples Group, partnered with MicroSourcing in Manila, seeks a Supervisor, Fund Accounting to lead hedge fund NAV preparations in a hybrid Manila setup. You will collaborate with investment managers, prime brokers, and auditors, ensuring accurate client deliverables while guiding junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in hedge funds/PE or solid financial services experience with Advent Geneva proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus.
4–5 years Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience, or 2–3 years hedge fund/PE plus 3–5 years in financial services.
Hands-on proficiency in Advent Geneva preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and review of NAVs for hedge funds, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
Serve as primary operational contact with managers, prime brokers, custodians, auditors and global teams.
Support audit processes by providing docs, addressing inquiries, and maintaining data accuracy.
Review data entry, fee processing, and operational metrics to ensure reporting accuracy and risk controls.
Provide leadership and training to junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Drive process improvements, manage tight deadlines, and participate in special projects.
