Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking a Fund Accounting Director in Manila to lead and shape NAV processes across client funds. You will provide strategic direction to fund accounting teams and ensure timely, accurate reporting and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, deep hedge fund accounting experience, and the ability to manage multi-client relationships in a hybrid work setting with office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years in hedge fund administration with 3+ years at manager level.
• IT literate with strong systems knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible and effective in team or independent settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new client meetings, outlining HedgeServ’s solution for fund structures.
• Lead a team of Managers, Directors and MDs to develop HedgeServ services.
• Oversee NAV process including fee calculations, P&L allocations and instrument accounting.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for assigned fund accounting teams.
• Manage multiple client relationships, internally and externally.
• Ensure the team operates within a defined, tested control environment.
• Drive workflow and procedure improvements to reflect changing controls.
• Resolve problems and take on special projects as needed.
• Recruit, train and evaluate fund accounting staff; address HR concerns with MD group.
• Prepare and review financial and regulatory reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, auditors and legal counsel.
• Oversee transitions of new clients to the HedgeServ platform.
• Collaborate with Investor Services, QA, Business Development, Operations and Compliance.
• Hybrid working arrangement – some time in the office and from home.
