Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting.
• Cash handling experience or willingness to develop these skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, systems and procedures.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering product inquiries and assisting with their shopping needs
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Stock shelves, displays and storage areas with merchandise, ensuring items are well-organized and clearly labelled
• Maintain store cleanliness and tidiness throughout the day, including floors, shelves and fitting areas
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs replenishing
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, working towards satisfactory resolutions
• Follow all company policies, procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Support the store team by assisting with merchandising, displays and promotional activities
• Operate the cash register and handle payments with accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
