Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Full Stack Developer in the Philippines to design, code, test, and deploy web service applications using Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks. You will participate in code reviews, write clean code, and help translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of experience with RESTful services, Agile/Scrum environments, and hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, Swagger, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or current progress in CS/IT/Math/IS or related field with foundational programming, data analysis, or systems analysis skills.
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using Spring Boot.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework: React.js, Angular, Vue.js.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience in building web applications and RESTful services.
• Experience applying common design patterns.
• Ability to read UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ.
• Experience with Git, and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with Swagger, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience creating unit tests with JUnit/Mockito/PowerMock.
• Experience working with JSON and YAML.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming tasks.
• Design, code, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and coding standards.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues; implement software enhancements.
• Create technical documentation for development teams, clients, and end-users.
• Seek mentorship from senior team members to grow skills.
• Proactively improve skills through training and development.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with the team.
