Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Freight Pay Support specialist to manage freight invoice processing and ensure timely payments aligned with contract terms. You will collaborate with IT, operations, logistics providers, finance and sales to optimize the freight pay process.

This role emphasizes data integrity, dispute resolution, and system enhancements. You will monitor aging invoices, assist with rate adjustments, and provide feedback to improve freight payment operations across our network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Accounts Payable or Freight Payment.
• External Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or related field is an advantage.
• Experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Freight Operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist carriers with aging reports for invoices paid through freight pay systems.
• Monitor payment system queues and troubleshoot errors with cross-functional teams.
• Manage disputes by reviewing information and backup documentation.
• Maintain freight pay data (locations, carrier info, GLs, cost centers).
• Ensure accurate and timely freight payments through validation and coordination.
