NetApp is seeking a Freight Data Analyst within our Global Procurement organization. You will collaborate with logistics managers, auditors, and contract manufacturers to optimize worldwide freight costs and service levels.
You will turn data into insights, build scalable analytics, review EMS partner settlements, and identify consolidation opportunities without compromising customer expectations. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and cross-functional teamwork is essential.
This is an individual contributor position in NetApp's Global Procurement organization. As a Freight Data Analyst, you will be working collaboratively with our logistics commodity managers, logistics auditor, contract manufacturers and various departments/functions to ensure best in class logistics cost efficiencies for our worldwide supply chain logistics.
As subject matter expert of NetApp's end to end supply chain freight logistics cost structure, identify opportunities for reducing costs. To thrive in this position, you should have a passion to analyze information and convert data into insights. You must be highly motivated, self-directed, detail oriented, analytical, with extensive knowledge of supply chain structure. To succeed in this role, you will need to work collaboratively across multiple departments and functions.
This role will work with EMS partners to understand the best supply chain route of our shipments and associated service levels. Review the invoices to understand if the freight charged amount was as expected. This requires you to work closely with our freight auditor to understand supplemental charges and determine which can be avoided or need to be negotiated. Determine if there are consolidation opportunities without sacrificing customer expectations.
