Job summary

NetApp Instaclustr in the Philippines seeks an experienced software engineer to help build and operate a scalable open-source platform. You will work with a small team to ensure reliable production systems across distributed environments.

You will own the full development lifecycle—from requirements and design to testing and deployment—while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product and operations teams in a 24x7 DevOps setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of more complex development initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers within the team to grow their skills.
• Collaborate with other development teams, operations, and product managers to solve complex problems.
• Apply DevOps best practices as part of a 24x7 global team.

Responsibilities

• Work within a development team of 3-8 engineers, to build, maintain, and enhance our open-source application platform, which takes care of the whole lifecycle: provisioning infrastructure, installing applications and, most importantly, keeping the applications running reliably in production.

Education

A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master’s degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
