Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Customer Protection Associate in the Philippines to protect customers and ensure secure, compliant transactions. You will review transactions, identify risks, and take actions that balance customer experience with fraud prevention.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, documentation, and collaboration with Customer Success and Risk Operations teams to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least High School Diploma.
• Experience in Risk Management or related fields such as E-Commerce, Fraud Prevention, Quality Control, Retail, Tech Support or BPO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review transactions and information to understand customers while respecting identities.
• Make customer-centric, minimal-friction decisions to protect customers.
• Identify fraudulent activities and suspicious patterns including AML signals.
• Document interactions and findings using company tools.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for KYC, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Support Customer Service and assist in escalations when needed.
