Job summary

Our Clients, Cebu City, Philippines, seeks an FP&A Assistant Manager to drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting in support of growth and profitability. You will partner with business leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

You will oversee multi-unit planning processes, monitor performance, and contribute to capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or management reporting.
Experience handling complex financial data across multiple units or large-scale operations.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling skills.
Ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate financial information into actionable recommendations.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Experience with ERP, BI tools, or financial planning systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-range financial plans in coordination with business units and department heads.
Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast, analyze variances, identify key drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, profitability assessments, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
Analyze revenue, costs, margins, operating expenses, cash flow, and other key financial indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare financial projections and sensitivity analyses to assess the potential impact of business decisions and changing market conditions.
Partner with business leaders and functional heads to understand business performance, evaluate financial implications, and support operational and strategic decisions.
Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for management.
Challenge assumptions, assess business cases, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost efficiency, resource allocation, and overall financial performance.
Support strategic projects, business expansion initiatives, capital allocation, and other management decisions through financial analysis and modeling.
Promote financial accountability across business units by strengthening budget ownership and performance monitoring.
Improve reporting processes, analytical tools, and financial planning methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and visibility of business performance.
