Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a Merchandise Allocator to manage SKU-level allocation and replenishment, optimize stock levels at the distribution centre and stores, and support planners with replenishment aligned to brand strategy.

The role requires experience in merchandising, knowledge of fashion distribution, and strong Excel skills, with emphasis on accuracy, analytics and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar merchandising role.
• Sound knowledge of footwear and fashion distribution and supply principles.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to take a proactive approach and think strategically.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the allocation and replenishment of merchandise by SKU.
• Ensure accurate model stocks in auto replenishment to reduce out-of-stocks.
• Coordinate inter-store transfers of merchandise.
• Analyse product flow and sales trends to forecast future needs.
• Analyse sales trends and identify opportunities and risks.
• Monitor receipts and deliveries into store and distribution centre.
• Assist the Planner in pre-season planning and grid quantifications.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
• Address store enquiries regarding stocks/deliveries.
• Weekly reporting; data integrity in systems; comply with standards.
