Classic Savory in Quezon City, Metro Manila seeks a licensed Food Technologist for a full-time role focused on quality, safety, and innovation of food products. You will drive continuous improvement across operations and support safe, delicious products for customers.

You will conduct safety testing, optimize formulations, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with production teams. Strong lab skills and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
• 2–4 years in food technology, quality assurance, or food safety in food manufacturing or QSR industries.
• Strong knowledge of food safety management systems (HACCP, FSMS, ISO 22000).
• Proficiency in microbiological and chemical testing methodologies and lab techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive food safety testing and QA protocols across production facilities and supply chains.
• Developing and optimizing formulations to enhance taste, texture, nutrition, and shelf-life.
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards and certifications.
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
• Document testing procedures, results, and recommendations in technical reports.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and calibration.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and safety.
• Participate in new product development initiatives and feasibility studies.
• Stay current with emerging food technology trends and best practices.
