Manila Catering Corporation is seeking an R&D professional to drive new product development, improve existing formulations, and optimize costs within a food manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Procurement to ensure compliant, market-ready products, and maintain up-to-date product specs and costings.

The role welcomes fresh graduates and requires 1–2 years of R&D experience, with a focus on food technology and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering or similar field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Research and Development.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new products and execute improvements to existing product technology
• Support all parts of new product development and further development of existing products
• Record trial results including product/process proposal specifications, documentation of recipes and formulations
• Facilitate communication with internal contacts such as Sales, Marketing and Procurement
• Select raw materials and ingredients from suppliers for testing and compliance with food safety and product specifications
• Maintain a monthly portfolio of new product development updates and action plans
• Maintain product specifications and product costing information ensuring consistency, accuracy and up-to-date records
• Coordinate with the Sales Division and customers on long-term market focus and product opportunities
• Monitor government regulations to ensure label and formulation compliance
• Assess technical feasibility of concepts and confirm operational compatibility
