The Food Prep ensures ingredients are properly prepared, dishes are accurately assembled, and delivery packaging is completed to company standards. This role works closely with cooks and dispatch staff to guarantee food quality, visual presentation, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.
Order Assembly & Timing: Coordinate with kitchen and dispatch teams to plan, prep, and assemble orders on time.
Quality Control: Inspect ingredients and finished dishes against presentation and portion standards; reject items that do not pass quality checks.
Food Safety & Storage: Receive raw shipments, store ingredients at proper temperatures, and uphold all food safety codes to prevent contamination.
Basic Food Preparation: Measure, mix, and prepare simple dishes, sauces, desserts, and foundational components for the assembly line.
Packaging & Delivery Prep: Fast-fold, tape, and stack packaging boxes; securely pack food items for final dispatch.
Inventory Monitoring: Track food prep station inventory, monitor shelf lives, and report low stock before items run out.
