• A Food Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a dining or food service setting. This role involves assisting customers with their food and drink orders, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment, and supporting kitchen and waitstaff teams.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers and take their food and drink orders.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about food items.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals and address any complaints or concerns.
• Food Preparation & Handling:
• Assist in food preparation or plating when necessary.
• Ensure food safety standards are met, including handling food with cleanliness and following safety procedures.
• Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean work environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and food service areas.
• Clean tables, chairs, and other surfaces between guests.
• Ensure food stations, utensils, and equipment are stocked and clean.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are filled accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with other food service staff to provide a smooth and efficient dining experience.
• Cash Handling (if applicable):
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions.
