• Food Attendant is responsible for assisting customers in a dining establishment by ensuring they have a pleasant experience. Their tasks include providing excellent customer service, serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and assisting with food preparation or orders.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, present menus, and explain daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen or bar staff. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to customers efficiently and professionally. Ensure the correct orders are delivered to customers and handle special requests.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean tables, chairs, and dining areas between guest seatings. Ensure that all utensils, plates, glasses, and other dining tools are properly cleaned and sanitized. Restock supplies as needed, including condiments and napkins.
• Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and order accuracy. Assist in food preparation when needed, such as assembling side dishes or garnishes.
• Present checks and handle payment transactions, including cash and credit card payments. Make change and issue receipts as needed.
• Health and Safety: Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards. Adhere to hygiene regulations, including personal cleanliness and food handling.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not always required.
