Qualifications

Job Summary

The Front Desk Sales Associate will be the first point of contact for clients at Retail & Alteration Services. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, processing sales, and promoting our clothing, bespoke and alteration services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth. The ideal candidate will be professional, approachable, and passionate about delivering a personalized customer experience in a fast-paced, tropical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and provide detailed information about bespoke tailoring and alteration services.

• Sales and Promotion: Actively promote clothing and apparel, alteration and bespoke services, upsell additional offerings, and assist clients in selecting fabrics, styles, and customization options.

• Appointment Management: Schedule appointments for fittings, consultations, and alterations, ensuring efficient time management for tailors and clients.

• Order Processing: Handle client orders, including taking measurements, recording specifications, and processing payments accurately.

• Inventory Assistance: Monitor and restock display materials, such as fabric swatches and sample garments, and report inventory needs to management.

• Client Follow-Up: Contact clients regarding order progress, fitting schedules, and pick-up/delivery arrangements.

• Store Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and reception area that reflects the boutique's premium brand image.

• Collaboration: Work closely with tailors and management to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in fashion, business, or hospitality is a plus.

• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or sales, preferably in fashion, hospitality, or a related industry.

• Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages, such as Korean or Mandarin, are a plus).

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-oriented approach.

  • Basic computer skills for managing appointments, processing payments, and maintaining client records.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

  • Knowledge of fashion, tailoring, or garment construction is an advantage.
