Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a General Trade Retail Manager (FMCG) to lead channel strategies and growth initiatives across priority channels. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning to strengthen in-store visibility and shopper conversion.

The candidate will design tactical plans, manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, and coordinate with commercial teams to roll out channel initiatives and BTL activations.

Qualifications

• Background in trade marketing, channel marketing, or related discipline within FMCG or food & beverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess channel and territory performance using data and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Design & roll out targeted strategies for key areas, including turnaround plans when needed.
• Develop tactical plans covering volume projections, budget builds, POSM, IAP decks, sell-in materials, and sales toolkits.
• Establish contingency plans to maintain business operations during market disruption.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to improve product availability, in-store visibility, and shopper conversion across priority channels.
• Track execution progress, flag risks, and adjust strategies to sustain performance.
• Lead review sessions to capture insights and apply learnings to future planning.
• Drive growth of emerging trade channels and define their strategic role within the framework.
• Partner with Category teams to launch channel-relevant activations and ensure alignment with brand direction.
