Gem Foods International, Inc. is seeking a Technical & Compliance Officer to ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role oversees product documentation, labeling, registrations, and technical approvals to support quality standards for local and international distribution. The ideal candidate has a background in FMCG/food manufacturing and at least 1 year in regulatory affairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in technical compliance, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of food labeling regulations, product registration, and FDA compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve product guides, labels, and packaging information to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of product specifications, ingredients, nutrition information, and manufacturing documentation.
• Monitor product registrations and regulatory compliance with agencies such as FDA, BFAR, and other applicable authorities.
• Evaluate non-conforming products and recommend appropriate disposition or corrective actions.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and export requirements.
