Job summary

JS Unitrade Merchandise, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Distributor Manager to grow our presence in Cebu. The role emphasizes building strong distributor relationships, improving distribution breadth, and ensuring brand targets are met across channels.

You will supervise distributor sales teams, conduct reviews with distributor partners, and work closely with Finance to manage claims and payments. Based in Cebu with FMCG experience, you will drive profitability and strategic expansion for our brands.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business or related field required.
• At least 5 years of distributor management experience in FMCG.
• Preferably based in Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Achieve brand and category targets for new accounts.
• Drive distribution breadth and depth for new accounts and SKU listings.
• Ensure distributor warehouses have sufficient inventory to serve trade needs.
• Ensure timely payments for deliveries and minimize HB.
• Coordinate monthly business reviews with distributors and regular finance checkpoints.
• Gather store universe data, perform area mapping and assess reach versus territory potential.
• Recommend infrastructure deployment for distributor operations.
• Implement route productivity standards across the distributor network.
• Drive merchandising dominance across channels with category planograms execution.
• Run activities and programs aligned with brand and channel strategies.
• Master territory coverage and reach strategy with distributor teams.
• Train and develop distributor sales teams as needed.
• Aim for distributor profitability and growth aligned with company standards.
• Handle distributor claims, reconcile HB, and lead weekly operations reviews with distributors.
