Spoke is seeking an Estimator to join its Estimating Department. The role focuses on accurate and timely cost assessments, collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop comprehensive project estimates.

You will balance multiple projects, utilize estimating software, review plans for material and labor needs, prepare takeoffs, and ensure estimates align with company standards and market pricing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years estimating experience, preferably flooring or construction.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with local market trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Review plans, proposals, and specifications to determine material, labor, and time requirements.
• Prepare takeoffs and quantity assessments for mid-sized projects.
• Collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and clients to understand scope and goals.
• Maintain up-to-date project records, including cost data and assumptions used in estimates.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process.
• Stay informed about market trends and pricing to ensure estimates reflect current industry standards.
