Job summary

Far East Industrial Supply & Co., Inc. is seeking a dedicated First Aider to provide immediate medical assistance at construction sites. You will support the Safety Team, assess injuries, and coordinate with healthcare responders to ensure timely care.

The role requires valid First Aid/BLS/CPR certification, DOLE safety training preferred, and readiness to work at project sites and remain calm during emergencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid and basic medical assistance to workers on site.
• Respond to workplace incidents and emergencies at the construction site.

• Coordinate with Safety Officer, clinic, hospital, or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain records of first aid treatments and medical incidents.
• Ensure first aid supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.
• Assist Safety Team during drills and safety activities.

About the role

We are looking for a First Aider who will be responsible for providing immediate first aid and basic medical assistance to employees at the construction/project site. The successful candidate will support the Safety Team in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid and basic medical assistance to workers in case of injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies
• Respond promptly to workplace incidents and emergency situations at the construction site
• Assess minor injuries and provide appropriate first aid treatment
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer, clinic, hospital, or emergency responders when further medical attention is required
• Maintain accurate records of first aid treatments, injuries, and medical incidents
• Check and maintain the availability of first aid kits, medicines, and other medical supplies
• Assist the Safety Team during emergency drills, toolbox meetings, and safety activities
• Ensure that first aid supplies and equipment are properly maintained and readily available at the site
• Monitor workers who require basic medical attention and report relevant concerns to the Safety Officer

About you

• Experience as a First Aider in a construction company or construction/project site
• Complete and valid First Aid/Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR training certificates and other relevant certifications
• Preferably with DOLE-recognized or relevant safety and emergency response training
• Knowledgeable in first aid procedures, CPR, emergency response, and basic injury assessment
• Willing to be assigned and stay/work at the project site
• Willing to work in a construction site environment
• Capable of responding to emergency situations
• Responsible, alert, reliable, and able to remain calm during emergencies
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to properly document and maintain medical/first aid records
