Job summary

Stage Riggers Inc. in Pasay, Philippines seeks a Health & Safety First Aid Officer to provide immediate first aid, maintain medical supplies, document incidents, and assist with safety inductions at construction sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What you\'ll be doing

• Providing immediate first aid treatment to injured or ill employees in accordance with established protocols and best practices

• Maintaining comprehensive first aid kits and medical supplies, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and ready for emergency use

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential health and safety hazards and reporting findings to management

• Assisting in the development and delivery of health and safety inductions for new personnel and contractors

• Documenting all incidents, injuries and first aid interventions with detailed and accurate records

• Maintaining clear communication with emergency services and external medical providers when required

• Participating in regular health and safety meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

• Supporting the implementation of site-specific safety procedures and protocols

• Responding promptly to emergency situations and providing appropriate first aid intervention

• Liaising with site management and health and safety representatives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

What we\'re looking for

• Current First Aid Certificate or equivalent recognised qualification, with CPR certification

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices relevant to construction environments

• Proven experience in a first aid or health and safety role, preferably within construction or a high-risk industry

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels

• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergency situations

• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations

• A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating health and safety risks

• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development in health and safety practices

• Knowledge of incident investigation and reporting procedures
